Scholarships

Raising money and offering scholarships is a large part of what The Ninety-Nines are involved with in helping women attain their goals in aviation.  The Greater Seattle chapter offers the Nancy Jensen Memorial Scholarship every year to a woman pursuing her pilot's license.  The International Ninety-Nine Organization also offers Fly Now Awards and Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships for women pursing aviation endeavors.

Flying Companion Seminars

The Greater Seattle chapter offers Flying Companion Seminars several times throughout the year. These classes teach flying partners of pilots how planes fly and gives them a better understanding of whats involved in the flying of a plane.  Check out our Events page for more information on upcoming seminars.

Airmarking

Airmarking has long been a popular tradition amongst Ninety-Nine members since the early 20th century.  The Greater Seattle Ninety-Nines have worked on several airmarking projects throughout the years at many different airports throughout the Puget Sound region.  Upcoming airmarking projects can be found on our Events page.
