This is an international organization that is committed to supporting women in all fields of aviation through scholarships and education.  Check out their website at https://www.wai.org/  to learn more about their activities.  WAI holds an international conference for women every year and also has numerous numbers of scholarships for women pursuing all different kinds of fields within aviation.

Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association

AOPA is an international organization of pilots from around the world.  Since 1939 their mission has been to make aviation accessible to everyone with the passion to learn how to fly.  The organization offers a wide variety of supportive services to it's members, holds annual fly-ins, and is very active in advocacy to protect general aviation.  AOPA also offers wonderful education materials, books, and videos for student and veteran pilots alike.  Their Flight Training magazine for student pilots has been rated as one of the best, with informative articles and information.  For more information, check out their website at https://www.aopa.org/

Experimental Aircraft Association

EAA is an organization that promotes and supports recreational flying as well as experimental aircraft.  Always had a dream of building your own airplane?  EAA offers it's members opportunities to become involved with the building and flight of experimental aircraft and offers a huge variety of educational opportunities and classes.  EAA is also active with the Young Eagles, which is an educational opportunity for pilots to share their love of flight with kids.  EAA also sponsors the annual OshKosh Fly-in in Wisconsin.  For more information, click on https://www.eaa.org/eaa
